Bethany: Would you pass me the salt.
Rosemary: Can you say please?
Bethany: Please.
Rosemary: No.
Bethany: (reaching over her to the salt) What has your panties in a knot.
Rosemary: This Judge at work. I'm representing a kid who has been abused from left to right, 11 ways of Sunday by her father and when I ask that she be removed from his house, He says no because there is no Mother present.
Bethany: But isn't that the job of Child services? To protect the children.
Rosemary: You would think. The father is claiming momentary insanity on the basis that he is bipolar and his command halluncentations made him do it, but now he's on med and behaving so  he wants his daughter with him.
Bethany: Well if he's on his meds...he will not harm his daughter.
Rosemary: My client had fresh bruises on her thighs this morning, I'm not buying his plea one bit.
Bethany: So what can you do?
Rosemary: We could adopt her. Shes almost 11 and if she can arrange for her care, she can do it. I want to save her. He father may or may not be telling the truth about his condition but I know what i see when I see it. we've always wanted a girl. so. Beth. What do you say.
